SOCIALS

"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"
Taking cue from one of the most famous proverbs of the 20th century, all you exhausted parliamentarians and adjudicators will be treated to some good ol' R&R. The socials event shall serve as a culmination to the Nuals Parliamentary Debate and a platform for interaction, socialization, games, music and a lot of fun.

Aptly themed as "Tropical Luau", we NUALSIANS invite you to come enjoy a slice of heaven. The theme celebrates the beautiful state of Kerala with its aesthetically pleasing sceneries, lush greenery and the beautiful backwaters, not to mention, a few elements from the dreamy tropical state of Hawaii.

So come be part of a bigger picture, interact with participants from various parts of India, thus promoting the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies and Social Justice's main goal - celebrating the social and cultural diversity in India.

DRESS CODE
Your clothes should reflect our theme.Infuse the colours and bring out the spirit of Kerala and Hawaii through your outfits.
So guys, find the most flowery t-shirt you can, grab those Hawaiian shirts that you thought would never be put to use and pack up the guts to wear those eccentric looking pants that everyone made fun of, cause at Socials, you'll be cheered on for those fashion risks.
Basically, dress like Govinda would for a beach party.
Ladies, flowers are the way to go. Your outfit should be as flowery or beachy as possible.(This does not mean the only tropical element is your accessory.)
Be it a flowery skirt, dress or a crazy palm tree blouse, a palazzo with the map of kerala on it or one of your mom's old goan flea market purchases, we say, surprise us.

DARE TO WEAR! There are no fashion faux pas here.(And if that doesnt encourage you, this should. The girl and boy who get their theme based outfit spot on, will be rewarded. :D)
